The Southside cocktail presents a harmonious blend of flavors that dance on the palate. With a crisp essence of gin and a vibrant tang of fresh lime juice, it strikes a balance between tartness and botanical complexity. A delicate touch of simple syrup brings subtle sweetness, while the inclusion of fresh mint leaves provides a refreshing and invigorating twist. This well-rounded and sophisticated cocktail offers a delightful symphony of taste, leaving a lingering sense of satisfaction and a desire for another sip, making it a timeless indulgence for cocktail enthusiasts.
Ingredients
2 parts Purity Navy Strength Organic Gin
1 part lime juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 part simple syrup
7 Mint leaves
Method
In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the mint leaves to release their aroma and flavor. Add the Navy Strength Gin, lime juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice cubes to the shaker. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the drink and combine the ingredients. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass or a rocks glass filled with ice. Optionally, you can garnish the drink with a fresh mint sprig.

Purity Navy Strength gin has all the hallmarks of a classic London Dry gin, but maximized for a delicious flavor. The base is our award-winning organic vodka (which is essential for any worthy gin), copper-distilled 34-times during 12 hours for extra purity, flavor and smoothness. We then dial up the strength, and in turn the flavor, packing more punch at 57.1% ABV. Juniper, coriander, lavender, cardamom, angelica root, basil, thyme, lingonberry and European blueberry blend to make any cocktail sing.
