After a winter walk in the snow, nothing beats wrapping your hands around a warm mug. The Old Tom Cocoa turns that simple comfort into a grown-up treat.

Gin 34 Old Tom is soft and gently sweet, and its botanicals bring a subtle herbal depth that cocoa rarely gets. A touch of honey rounds it out, and a single drop of peppermint adds a cool, wintry finish.

Warm hands. Warm heart. One unexpected smile.

How to make it

Warm the cocoa in a saucepan until hot but not boiling.

Stir in the honey and the peppermint extract.

Pour into a warmed mug and add Gin 34 Old Tom.

Finish with a little whipped cream or grated dark chocolate if you like.

From the Master Blender

Add the gin after the cocoa has stopped boiling, just before serving. That keeps its botanicals bright and aromatic. Peppermint is strong: one drop is plenty.
