Cinnamon syrup: simmer 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water with 1 cinnamon stick until dissolved, about 5 minutes. Steep 10 to 15 minutes off the heat, then strain. Keeps in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Prefer no egg? A cocktail foamer gives the same frothy top.

In Sweden, cinnamon is the scent of home. The kanelbulle, the soft cinnamon bun, is so loved that it has its own national day each October, and a fika without one hardly feels complete.

The Nordic Spice turns that warmth into a cocktail. Vanilla and cinnamon meet a little cream and a silky foam, and Vodka 34 Signature Edition brings Effortless Smoothness to the base, so the drink feels cozy and rounded without ever turning heavy.

Warm spice with a cool Nordic edge. Made for long, dark evenings.

How to make it

Chill a coupe glass.

Add Vodka 34 Signature Edition, vanilla syrup, cinnamon syrup, cream and egg white to a cocktail shaker. Shake hard without ice for about 15 seconds to build the foam.

Add ice and shake again until well chilled.

Strain into the chilled coupe, let the foam settle, and finish with a light dusting of ground cinnamon.

From the Master Blender

Make your own cinnamon syrup and taste it after ten minutes of steeping. Stop when it smells like a fresh cinnamon bun, not like the spice jar. Grate the cinnamon on top at the very last moment for the best aroma.
