The Dirty Martini uses olive brine for its savory edge. The Nordic Salted Olive Martini takes a more refined route: a pinch of sea salt in the drink and a few drops of fine olive oil floating on top.

Gin 34 Nordic London Dry gives it a clean, juniper-led backbone with herbal depth. The salt makes every flavor a little brighter, and the olive oil adds a silky texture and a fruity, peppery aroma that rises from the glass.

Savory, silky and quietly sophisticated.

How to make it

Chill a Martini glass or Nick & Nora.

Add Gin 34 Nordic London Dry, dry vermouth and a small pinch of sea salt to a mixing glass filled with ice.

Stir for about 30 seconds, until very cold.

Strain into the chilled glass and finish with 2 to 3 drops of olive oil on the surface.

From the Master Blender

Use a fruity, peppery olive oil and add it with a dropper or the tip of a spoon after straining. The drops should float like little golden beads: beautiful to look at, and aromatic with every sip.
