2 oz / 6 cl Purity Vodka 51 Connoisseur Reserve Organic
3/4 oz / 2 cl fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz / 1.5 cl honey syrup
1/4 oz / 1 cl egg white

Honey syrup: warm 1/2 cup honey with 1/2 cup water, stirring until dissolved, then cool. Keeps in the fridge for up to a month.

Prefer no egg? A cocktail foamer or a tablespoon of aquafaba gives the same frothy top.

Honey and lemon are one of the oldest pairings in drinks. Long before the cocktail had a name, honey was the natural way to soften the bright edge of citrus, and that warm, golden balance still feels timeless.

The Golden Dawn brings it together with Vodka 51 Connoisseur Reserve and a silky foam. The vodka’s soft, rounded texture lets the honey glow and the lemon sparkle, while the foam turns every sip into something light and velvety.

A Nordic sunrise in a glass. Warm, bright and beautifully smooth.

How to make it

Chill a coupe glass.

Add Vodka 51 Connoisseur Reserve, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup and egg white to a cocktail shaker. Shake hard without ice for about 15 seconds to build the foam.

Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds, until the shaker is frosty cold.

Strain into the chilled coupe and let the foam settle into a smooth golden layer before serving.

From the Master Blender

Use a mild, floral honey such as clover or acacia; strong honeys can take over. Dry shake hard for a full fifteen seconds before adding ice, then let the drink rest in the glass for a moment so the foam settles into a smooth, even layer.
